Maserati decided to follow Porsche's lead into the abyss, with an SUV of their own. The thing was designed to be a bit of an animal in the SUV category. In many ways it's not even an SUV, perhaps even bringing the idea of SUV to its natural conclusion. Something that can be great off-road, but is an absolute killer on fast pavement. A freak of nature, if you will.
